Meet the Designer

The question that always gets asked by visitors to The Sugar Shack is:

 "What - you do all this yourself?' ...Well, the simple answer is yes.

That's because, unlike your usual gallery/boutique, every piece of photography, every product and all the designs….even the postcards and the lip balms…. are conceived, designed and made in St Agnes by Carla Ballantine.

Originally trained in graphic design and photography, and having worked with many blue chip clients over the years Carla has grown her exclusive range of designs under her Sugar Jones brand to include individual pieces of jewellery, handbags (oh yes, even a whizz with a sewing machine!), exclusive T-shirts and even baby bibs.

Nowhere else in Cornwall can you find such a quirky and individual range of images, products and designs all under one (small but perfectly formed!) roof.
